OUR MISSION AND VISION
LLA’s vision is to offer children and families a safe and nurturing atmosphere with a hands-on, play- based, engaging curriculum with various interactive and free play choices. Encouraging individuality and supporting social-emotional development through everyday interactions, experiences, and modeling are priorities. Exploring nature, STEAM, and social-emotional, communication, and wellness skills are incorporated into our daily activities and routines. Using play and socialization as the foundation, LLA will support children in developing critical academic and social skills while creating new traditions and long-lasting life experiences.
Our mission is to enrich the lives of children, families, and the community while providing a valuable educational and social experience that will create a lifelong love of learning. LLA will provide the necessary tools, support, guidance, and high-quality environment critical to building a solid educational foundation and social confidence for success in future experiences and interactions. Consistent presence, support, encouragement, and guidance yield significant achievements for young minds.
Our team will adapt to meet the needs of each child, encourage special interests, and inspire individual gifts. LLA is committed to communicating and partnering with parents to ensure a positive early childhood educational experience. Continuing education, mentoring, and opportunities for continued growth and advancement are provided to all LLA team members.
We focus on learning through play. It is our foundation and commitment to make learning fun! We offer a nurturing environment where we model positive behaviors, encourage learning, and focus on positive development and growth. Our environment offers hands-on activities, age-appropriate curriculum, social-emotional development support and, of course, safe and trusting care of children.
LLA consists of a diverse, loving, and experienced team that creates a family atmosphere. Children are welcomed into a warm, safe, secure, and comfortable environment. At LLA, all children's needs are met with warm acceptance, compassion, kindness, and encouragement. As a team, we strive to develop a strong sense of individual worth and celebrate the uniqueness of each child and we are dedicated to practices honoring diversity, equity, and inclusion. This commitment is intended to value and celebrate individuality while creating a collaborative space for learning and acceptance.
Director’s Philosophy
I’m Dr. Deb Zupito, Doctor of Educational Leadership, Founder/Director of Little Learning Academy, and Founder of Treehouse Minds. I support, educate, and advocate for children, families, and the field of ECE. I commit to sharing resources, expert practices, expertise about early childhood development, behaviors, and to providing support and education to families in efforts to positively impact our future generations.
We as parents, educators and mentors must cultivate young minds and inspire new and different ways of learning! There are endless possibilities in education, ongoing personal growth, and the motivation for meaningful change is focused on supporting young minds and, therefore, our communities for generations to come. This is my focus.
